Want To Build a Mobile App

Hello Everyone! I want to create mobile app that will help parents and soon-to-be parents keep track of their schedules, plan family events, and provide health and nutrition recommendations. I have no idea how to make an app or even where to begin. I'm not seeking someone to build an app for me; instead, I'd like someone to educate me on how to do it myself.
